When you check in, let your stress check out. Enjoy the added advantage of waterfront recreation at your door step by stepping out along our long, private bulkhead. Try your luck with our fishing gear for red fish, flounder or trout, depending on the season. Play outdoor chess, badminton, croquet, relax, read, sun bath, or just meditate while the sun sets. Indoor board games and cards available. Walk to a local restaurant. Get a great night’s rest and wake to aromas of a hot country style breakfast with juice and steaming coffee. Breakfast is served to guests in the sun room (clothing is required) with a commanding view of Clear Lake. Or, if you prefer to stay in your pjs, we’ll bring a breakfast tray to your room, when given a 24 hour notice. Located in the middle of it all, this private, comfortable home-away-from-home ambiance on Clear Lake is conveniently located on the main thoroughfare of NASA Parkway (formally known as NASA Rd. 1), centered between the Kemah Boardwalk and NASA Space Center Houston, just 2 miles away. All bedrooms are separate from each other and none share a common wall. Each has its own private bathroom, most with tub and shower combination. Linens and towels provided. Make us your home base, halfway between Houston and Galveston Island.
For an extended stay, or traveling with children, inquire about our fully furnished Guest Houses, some featuring water views. These guest houses are private and comfortable 1 to 4 bedrooms, fully furnished with fully equipped kitchens. Linens and towels are provided and replenished as needed. Call for availability based on your preferred check-in/out dates. Rentals are available by the day, week or month. Monthly rates are exempt from hotel occupancy tax.
This site contains photos and descriptions of the B&B amenities, from bedrooms and baths, to event space, and everything in between such as rates, services, hot deals and coming attractions. The B&B property covers about an acre of manicured event lawn, a long private view and access to beautiful Clear Lake. This is the perfect location for a stay-vacation as you indulge in the sea breeze and lull your senses with the lapping of the water. Reservations can be made over the phone, or you can leave an email request that will be promptly answered.
The B&B is original to the 1930s, built as a summer home by wealthy Houstonians seeking to escape the heat of downtown Houston. The B&B has undergone renovations for your comfort, allowing you to enjoy the same benefits the original owners were seeking – the relaxing sea breeze and soothing sounds of the lapping water.
